At least two films (a made-for-TV movie that aired in 1988 and From Hell) point the finger at Sir William Gull, the queen's royal physician as being Jack. Personally, I find the Royal Conspiracy Theory the most Hollywood-like and therefore least credible theory.

I listened to an hour-long talk on the Higgs Boson particle and didn't understand a thing. But Holger Bech Nielsen seemed to be saying that the very fact of looking for the particle precludes finding it. I didn't understand how that works either, but like the idea.
