Fun Drak Pack fact: the voice director, Wally Burr, worked for Hanna Barbera on many shows during the 70s and early 80s, including three seasons of Super Friends. After he left Hanna Barbera, he voice-directed my beloved Transformers.

That show had an amazing voice cast: it included Hans Conreid (Dr. Dred), Julie McWhirter (Vampira), Jerry Dexter (Drak), Don Messick (Fly and Toad), Alan Oppenheimer (Big D), Bill Callaway (Frankie and Howler) and Chuck McCann (Mummy Man).

Jerry Dexter seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth. He was Alan in Josie and the Pussycats, Chuck in Shazzan, and, of course, Drak. His specialty seemed to be heroic young men. I always thought he had a sexy voice.

Jerry Dexter was also Fred...er, Biff, in Fangface. No, despite its derivativeness, I liked Fangface, or rather, I liked the 18 or so full-length episodes. When it became a segment of Plastic Man and they introduced Fangpuss, it jumped the shark.
