The average human emits approximately 95 watts of energy as heat in the form of infrared light. A standard 100 watt incandescent light bulb emits only about 5% of its energy as visible light, the rest is given off as heat in the form of infrared light. This means the average human produces the same amount of heat as a 100 watt light bulb.

There is something really pointy inside my shirt (right by the crook of my left elbow) that keeps poking me about every five minutes, but every time I try to find what it is, there's nothing evident. It's driving me just crazy enough to complain about it, but not quite crazy enough to change my shirt.

There's a picture of my wife and I when we were 18 and 19 and went to a semi-formal in college framed in my living room. We look so young! (Even though its only from 9-10 years ago). It's my favorite picture of us.
