She's totally milking her popularity among the 'geek' crowd. She's said she's a long time reader & fan of Gen13 and Witchblade. I don't know one way or another but you kinda want to call bullshit on that.

Jonah Hex also has John Malkovich as the villain. Now *there* is an actor that knows how to chew up the scenery. Ever see "Con Air"? He makes Nic Cage look like Lawrence Olivier.

I tend to believe her.
Most actresses, even the "glamorous" ones (correction, especially the "glamorous" ones) tend to be geeks and misfits in RL.

Yeah, all accounts show she was a big misfit in High school and prior.
She seems likable enough in real life. She's certainly got a large portion of teenage geekdom eating out of the palm of her hand.
She's stunningly beautiful. I don't really have an opinion on her acting because I haven't really seen much with her in it.
