The Hindu's say that when you go to have the required spiritual wash in the Ghanges River, that if you don't come out, you go straight to Nirvana, with no more reincarnations.
So, if a Bull Shark or a Sea Croc or naybe a stray Great White get you, it's considered a good 'bath'.

Spiders have 'book lungs' which a fairly inefficient, which is why they don't more a terrible amount most of the time, although they have that blinding speed when they need it.
Their lung capacity is why they can't grow, body wise, much bigger than a man's hand. So, 'Ice Spiders' wouldn't really work, or any of the giant spider movies.
