...arrived in sunny, warm California for an 8-day visit! -12C/12F back in Ontario, 66F/18C here in Venice Beach at a streetside restaurant roughly 100 yards/meters from the Pacific! I have not seen a trace of snow in... 10 hours but it seems like a lifetime ago already (the tropical drinks help, too).

Ha! I had that same thought, Quis.

I actually tried to pay for the customer behind me, but the clark laughed and said, "Sorry, their meal is free." So I couldn't pay it backwards *or* forwards.
