I'm here when I could be getting nine bucks an hour to phone-bank for some non-profit where the CEO makes $3,000,000,000,000 a year to ride around in a limo being fed peeled grapes by high-priced call girls/rent boys.

Lunchtime weather is lovely in Houston. Highs today will be 66F. I think this is one of the 17 nice days we have every year.

Today is the birthday of Chris Squire of Yes; he turns 62.
Yes is on the road these days and working on a new album, although famed frontman Jon Anderson is not involved. Squire has been the only constant member of the band since its inception in 1968.
(Oh, and weather in Kansas City is sunny but a bit cool.)

It was 16 years ago today that comedy great John Candy left us for "The Great Outdoors". Rest in Peace, Big Guy.
