I'll be more or less out of touch until next Thursday. I'm heading home to see the folks, and although I will try to check in once or twice while I'm there, I probably won't be posting much.
I hope everyone has a fun, safe, Happy Holiday!

I leave bright and early this morning for Nags Head in the the Outer Banks. Some buddies and I have a house rented there through January 2. Not sure if I'll have any access so I probably won't be around much.
Merry Christmas to everyone. May the Holidays bring every much happiness and relaxation. And may 2008 be a fruitful, health-filled year for all of us.

I'll be doing my usual Christmas thing: spending Christmas Eve in Houston; singing in the choir at the late Christmas Eve service; coming back to my house to exchange gifts with my friends here; getting no sleep; being dropped off at the airport for the first flight out to Orlando; sleeping on the plane; arriving at my folks' house in Kissimmee in time for Christmas dinner; collapsing about 8 p.m.
I do this every year.
I'll be around, though. My parents have a computer in the bedroom where I stay when visiting!
Merry Christmas!

I'm not travelling (except to the next town over), but I won't be online until the library reopens on Thursday (I am so not used to everything being closed on Dec 26 - Boxing Day - too).

I borrowed mr_cleome's phone so I could check in with ma_cleome, who still lives in N.J.
She's out having Chinese food for Xmas, too.
Tomorrow I go to my first-ever Boxing Day party, and I'm pretty psyched about it!

Boxing Day! I know enough to know Boxing Day is all about presents, but it'd be cool if you had to punch people and steal their presents or something.
All my relatives are in the city, so not much traveling for me around the holodays.

I "reboxed" a tacky cookbook that we never use, and swapped it for a "reboxed" tacky Canadian tourism shirt that somebody else was never using.
Also I watched a Doctor Who Xmas special and drank enough sherry to stagger a (British Riding) pony.
Luckily hardly anyone showed up for work today, so I didn't have to answer any awkward questions.

Home! after a few nice days in the Rockies, but a less-than-pleasant return trip via Greyhound.
