Did anyone watch the final story arc of the cartoon? It featured the Brotherhood of Evil (which now consists of a good portion of the villains seen throughout the series) tracking down and attacking a large number of young heroes that have "joined" the Titans (most of whom have not been seen in the series). It's been going on for the last part of this season, culminating in the series finale this weekend.

I gotta say that, although I have not always loved this series (far too much of the cutesy animation stuff in the early seasons), this last season has been pretty good. And the finale featured some pretty cool, all-out battle sequences between the Brotherhood and Titans. And many board favorites got a chance to appear, such as Herald, Jericho, Kole, Gnaark and Bumblebee. It's too bad that we never got to see Wonder Girl, Lilith, Hawk and Dove in this series, but alot of Titans did finally appear over time.

I guess it's a good thing that if the series had to go, at least it went out with a bang.

Actually, there's one more episode of TT being aired *today* (Monday, Jan 16) at 4:00 pm. It's an episode titled THINGS CHANGE.

Weird time, I know.

Not sure if it'll be rerun Saturday night.

The folks at Cartoon Network sure prove their love for the DCU cartoons, don't they?

Moderator - can you link this to the Teen Titans Go!? please?

Sorry... I thought the Teen Titans Go thread was about the comic version of the cartoon, not the cartoon itself.

yeah, Spillbinder, that's what I thought when I set up a new thread and I got reprimanded by two people saying that we "ALREADY" have one thread that's devoted to Teen Titans GO!...so they closed down my thread and moved it there. *sigh*

I thought that the thread was about the book...but really it's about everything that is related to.

I don't see why there can't be more than one topic about the subject.

So whoever reprimanded you was in error.

Assuming this is the thread you are talking about, it wasn't "closed down", per se. I think the posters who replied were just trying to let you know that the discussion was already going on elsewhere, rather than "reprimanding" you.

EDE, yeah but I got "reprimanded" in private, as in Private Message, only I got to cooperate. that's all. I don't want to open the can of worm, you know? and whats more I have seen Lightning Lad putting the links in other threads asking them to go there instead of creating another but similar topic, as seen in Legion thread. So I thought....well, never mind. just go on and keep talking.

Back to the topics - I can't wait to buy a Bumblebee toy and will buy the same one for my niece so to put more influence to her (she's 5 years old) *bad uncle me*. [Smile]

THERE'S A BUMBLEBEE TOY???? thats exciting. must have [Drool]

Bumblebee has a figure in the TTG 3.5 inch format-- she was released in a twopack with the villain Hot Spot. She's also in the new wave of Titans "Battling Machines", with her Shuttle Buzzer. [Cool]

Hot Spot is NOT a villain! He is a hero and a member of Teen Titans.

Ah! My bad. I haven't ever seen him on the cartoon-- too cheap for cable now that I have my own place [Embarrassed] -- and had no reference. I just assumed he was because they packed the white Raven with Cinderblock in that wave of figures. Thanks for the correction. [Smile]

FYI Hotspot = Joto (but they changed it because "joto" is apparently a derogatory term for homosexuals in Spanish or something (it means "heat" in Swahili though...))

I'm not too heartbroken about the end of the Titans cartoon, but I'm sorry we won't get to find out the identity of Red X (maybe they'll do that in the comic -- is that still ongoing?)

Joto... right. He was one of the Jurgens "Jupiter" Titans... with heat powers. [Smile] Maybe the Spanish took the original Swahili term for a more literal, "flamer"-type slur. Interesting.

Just as well Joto didn't end up a "flaming queen", then...
