This is sort of the "sister" contest to the Inhumans Edition.
Pink Sneckie, Sensor, Jeka, etc, etc was very highly nominated for the Inhumans competition, but I like the idea of having an all female "partly human" contest.
So, this one will be hosted by Yera Allon.
Sneckie, Jeka, will be a definite competitor, but we need more!
I thought of:
*Insect Queen in some part human-part insect shape.
*Keike (?) the mermaid from the underwater story in the preboot Legionnaires story (art by AH!).
So, that's 3.
Are there any more? I'm not at home near my collection, so I need nominees!

My thought is that if it's not clear, the contestant is ineligible. I just remembered that there have been a couple of cat ladies in Legion comics... the secretary to Brande or McCauley in the reboot, drawn by Jason Armstrong. There was also a cat lady in the Circus story in V2.

When Gas Girl first demonstrated her power in the Lallorians' first appearance she didn't turn completely to gas, she had a human face but the rest of her body was a moving gas cloud.
Since Insect Queen could turn from human to half-human/insect, Kinetix with a tail could conceivably be eligible too.
But Set is right. This is a stumper.

Catspaw? From the wiki entry: A hybrid of human and feline, Catspaw has the agility, speed, and heightened senses (smelling, hearing, and balance) of a cat, as well as retractable claws on her fingertips and toes. She has excellent night-vision and animal-like instincts. Posted by Sketch Lad on :

I really don't think Dawnstar fits. Therefore, neither does Zoe with a tail. If she was covered in fur and had kitty ears or something, that'd work.
Laurel Kent works if she's depicted like a cyborg like on that cover. If she's in full Manhunter mode, it's not right.
Gas Girl works if she's in a state of being half human, half gas.
Ayla as a lightning storm is too far from human.
Shikari works best if in her armor, especially since her feet are naturally inhuman looking.
Catspaw would work if I really "catted her up" maybe like in that one reboot panel.
There must be more obscure part human/part non human females in 50 years of comics! I can't wait to get to my collection at home and DIG!

Visually speaking, I want the contestants in this competition to be part human and part ...something non-human. So...
Sensor Keike Insect Queen and Gas Girl ...are all in.
I need to double-check on what the butterfly elemental girl looked like. She may become the fifth contestant.

The butterfly element girl was named Flutter/Aerie; she's certainly more non-human in features than Dawnstar is. I'd say she ties with Sensor for how far along the Partly Human scale she is. I think she'd make a great candidate.
But I still second elfin Zoe

Lamprey doesn't have many non human qualities. If she had fins instead of hands/feet or at least webbed digits that'd fit better.
I'm on the fence about Comet Queen because she just looks like an alien, not so much part human part something else. I do love the character though.

Leejah in her "halfway" form (as injuries meant she was stuck between the humanoid and tentacled forms) would best be seen in Legionnaires #65. That's when she went through the ceremony that made her Durla's spiritual leader, as the one who took that title from Reep was killed during the Dark Circle storyline.

I dug into my collection and found pictures of Flutter and Leejah, and I feel like Leejah fits the "Partly Human" category better.
After much of the conversation here, it seems we might need another contest that features characters who have features that are not typical of the average human; Dawnstar, Flutter, Comet Queen, etc. Some of the characters mentioned could fulfill another FEMs (female extraterrestrial models) contest.

Jeka looks like a very mysterious 40s pin-up girl! A snake fatale?
The way Keike's tail bends is appealing - or maybe it just makes it look more like legs? And her expression is great, like she's trying not to laugh at somebody offstage.
I also liked Gas Girl - what there was of her! - she looked a bit distracted.
Leejah's big green tentacle hands looked odd to me with her cute face, like she put on monster mitts. And, for some reason, Insect Queen has always given me a creepy feeling. That's just how I react to the characters, not your sketches.

Jeka carries it away, what a beautiful picture (and I love the not-quite-white background for the series).
Leejah is also stunning. You sort of want to know more about her...
Keiki looks playful and enticing.
Lana... well, my problem is that I really don't like the character, so that is influencing my enjoyment of the picture. I also had to look twice to realize that she's winking, at first I thought that there was something wrong with her eye.
Gas Girl.. well, she's OK, but I've seen far better pictures of her.

Lana's okay, but not as good as the others.
Torn between Keiki and Leejah. Keiki's pose is great, like she's just getting ready to bust out. But Leejah manages to make the squiddy arms look alluring and pretty. Grrrr, tough one!
