Get down, get down! The 70s have returned (2970s?) and it's time to boogie. Post creative work featuring BOTH the 70s era Disco Swimsuit Legion AND OR create NEW suits/stories for any Legionnaires that didn't get disco era swimsuits.
We love brand new submissions (stories, poems, prose, novels, paintings, drawings, photomanips, action figures, statues, busts, micros, etchings, etc.) but we certainly want your existing work posted in the galleries too! Come join us all month long starting on the 1st for the shindig!

The 70s continue! I saw this groovy bird in an afro and thought she'd be spooky good as Shikari.

Love that Shikari! Great to see since she was never a part of the disco era.
Here's "Disco Jo". I have two more coming up... Posted by DrakeB3004 on :

Here's what I think of as a 70's character.
The ANTM is Erin and the photo is one of the most beautiful that I've ever seen. Besides Charma, she reminds me of the Vermeer painting, 'The girl with the Pearl Earring' (which might be a paraphrase.)

Here's another woefully underused villian from the 70's era (I think.)
I needed to change her more complete image out for this cropped one which is a little more modest.
Sometimes my admiration for beauty and my artistic nature must be tempered with my Christian ethics.
I'm sorry I didn't make that judgement sooner.

Great choices, Shady! Erin as Charma works too because Erin was disliked by all the other girls on the show!

Very true!

I don't have Photoshop right now, or else I'd've manipped her into a Quicksand outfit. GREAT casting!

Yes, this computer I'm using can't handle any of that or I'd have tried something, too.
Thanks for the comments, Sketch!

That picture you picked for Charma is haunting, Candle!
That cloth-for-hair notion is amazing. She's like a sculpture come to life!

I totally agree about that photo. I think Tyra Banks is the photographer.
She's done some amazing work.
