Hello Sentients of the Legionverse! I'm Dream Girl from the Legion of Superheroes.
There's no questioning the fact that superheroines are a very important part of comic books. In fact, the Legion has always had its share of female members. There's no question that imagery featuring the female characters is very popular. Indeed, sometimes a cover or a pinup, when done well can increase the sales for a comic book series.
So we've decided to make an open call throughout the galaxy. Who has what it takes to be the next superpowered female to create a striking image that could propel Legion fandom even further?

We decided to open the call to any superpowered female, hero or villain. We know that Bad Girls can certainly create compelling imagery.
Natuarally, for such an undertaking, we need very qualified judges. Posted by Sketch Lad on :
First, we have Marte Allon, former President of Earth and mother of a Legionnaire. Marte will help us to remember that these women are not simply objects. They need to bring a sense of identity, intelligence and confidence. Marte, being a former politician, is very diplomatic. She is also known to very, very nice.
Next, Saturn Girl from the Legion. Saturn Girl has judged more Try-Outs than possibly any other sentient in the universe. She has a keen eye for detail and has no reservations when it comes to speaking her mind. It can be said that she expects only the best. Good luck girls!
Our final judge is the notorious Emerald Empress! The empress knows all about female empowerment and about creating a dramatic image. She will have no regard for feelings as she puts the contestants through their paces....

We had an overwhelming response to our call. Superpowered females from all over the universe came to try out for this contest.
Some were absolutely not right for this contest, while others could have been great.
But we couldn't accept everyone.

It was very difficult, but we finally did it, we narrowed the contestants down to five!
From left: INFECTIOUS LASS- A quirky and cute young woman with the power to cause illness in others.
GLORITH- Power hungry and confident, she can manipulate time.
RAINBOW GIRL- A debutante with the power to create radiance in multiple colors.
LAMPREY- A lovely girl who can breathe either in or out of water and can manipulate electric energy.
QUICKSAND- Glamorous and edgy, she can transmute matter from solid to liquid and back.
