Here's a little pic I did yesterday of Marilyn Monroe for a film festival poster. It's not really a sketch since it is a finished drawing but it did only take about twnety minutes to do, so I'm quite pleased with the end result. It howvere does also look remarkably like Dreamer but with a regular shaped mole.

Very nice, Bevis! I love the look... sexy/seductive, and the whole thing would work whether it was Marilyn OR Nura (I wonder if later artists had Marilyn in mind when drawing Nura...?)

Oh some of the pics I've seen of Nura have been *very* Marilyn. Maybe that's just coz of the blonde hair and the mole, but I think at least some of them did it consciously. She's certainly got that 1940s/50s movie starlet loook to her anyway.

Excellent drawing. I would have known it was Marilyn and not Nura even if you didn't say.
I think over the years Nura has become more Marilynesque

Whoa. "Happy birthday, Mr. Presi-dent..." Very nice; am now very curious to see it in color.

Elegant minimalism. Especially good for a poster, where attention has to be grabbed in passing.
