The WaK Wing - On Deck Circle will be opening January 1st (or end of December if you've got time-cosuming New Year's Eve plans) so I just wanted to set this up early. This gallery will comprise of creative works of "your own renditions of characters that didn't make the first cut of the Waid/Kitson (WaK) era team".
We love brand new submissions (stories, poems, prose, novels, artwork, action figures, statues, busts, micros, etchings, etc.) but we certainly want your existing work posted in the galleries too! Come join us on January 1st for the On Deck Party!
With so many WaK sophomores to chose from, who will you WaKize?!?

As i will hopefully be doing something naughty for New Year's Eve, I thought I'd go ahead and post these early. Here's Adam Brody (the O.C.) as my reimagined Waid/Kitson era Matter-Eater Lad and Jorge Garcia (Lost) as my reimagined Waid/Kitson era Bouncing Boy!
ART NOTES Matter-Eater Lad: Notice the stripes - reminiscent of the original costume, and the shades, a nod to the last two incarnations. Also, since lots of Barry's new designs have new logos, I thought I'd update Tenz's with a nod to the 80s eating icon: Pacman!
Bouncing Boy: I really like the original costume so I mainly changed the piping on the costume, added a bouncing logo, and added the toussled hair that Cobie likes so much. Oh yeah, my reimagined Bouncing Boy is an alcoholic - he's addicted to vintage silverale (before the SP designed a non-alcoholic version)!
** I forgot to mention, I just changed ISPs so all the files I host will soon be unhosted. I'll try to rehost the important files and eventually change the links but I'll have a lot less bandwith so I might not rehost everything...**

The WaK Wing! I can see this as a "West Wing" Parody!
Posted by Vee on :
Not being anything close to resembling an artist like our other posters, I had to resort to using tools such as HeroMachine and the hero creator at City of Heroes to create my reimagined Legionnaires.
First up....2 versions of Mon, or rather, Marvel lad. The first is my version on City of Heroes. He has yet to earn his cape so you'll just have to imagine how magnificant he'll be once he gets it! (Or maybe one of our talented artist can add one to this pic for me!)
And below is a version created with HeroMachine...
Posted by Vee on :
Next up are two designs for the new Mysa, both from City of Heroes. In the new Legion she would probably be codenamed Mystic Lass.
Posted by Vee on :
Next up is a version of Polar Boy (who SHOULD be in the Legion since there's no point for Subs this time around)
Posted by Vee on :
Next is a completely new hero based on a merger of various other incarnations. In the Adventure era we met Quantum Queen, first as a statue in the Hall of Fallen Legionnaires and finally as one of the Wanderes. In the reboot, of course, we were given Kid Q 1 & 2, neither of which was very well liked by many.
Quantum Kid blends them all together into someone completely new.
Posted by Vee on :
And last but certainly not least in my book, is Condo Arlik, formerly known as Chemical King and now renamed Catalyst Kid.
First the HeroMachine version...
and next the version that has been so successful as a member of the Legion on City of Heroes (I particularly love this design! )
I'm working on some other ideas but none are done yet, so I'll post them when they're ready! Can't wait to see everyone else's versions!
Posted by Vee on :
Oops! Almost forgot one....
This is the new Quislet. In this version, he's still the little energy being that uses a transport system. However, he has spent a long time "watching" the Legionnaires from his universe and has modeled his transport system to resemble them. Of course he didn't realize how large the really were until he made his escape and arrived on Earth only to discover that he had misjudged sizes and only came up to their waists in most cases!
Still, he's the Quislet we all know and love, fun loving, energetic, impetuous, and curious. And yes he still says "What fun!"

Boy! My Netscape sure is being difficult these days.
Near as I can tell all of the pics above will load, but you may have to "encourage them" by hitting reload.
PS: I can't believe I'm the only one besides Monkey Eater Lad that got some reimagined Legionnaires done in time for the gallery opening.
Let's see more!
Posted by Monkey Eater Lad on :
Oy VEEEEEEEEEEE! I love the Polar Boy design and Mystic Lass is a great name! How come were the only ones cranking 'em out?!? More! More! More! Its not much of a Museum if we don't have a diverse Legionworld contributing contingent...
Posted by Sketch Lad on :
You guys have done some great work on this! I've only just gotten around to depicting the WaK Legionnaires that HAVE been reimagined, so I'll need a bit more time to get to the ones that haven't, yet.

Sorry I'm behind. I was a little under the weather last week, and didn't feel up to doing much. This is something I did at lunch time. It's not very polished (it's not even inked), but it's more or less just getting an idea I had down on paper.
The one thing that bothered me about Dawnstar in the past is that her look didn't make much sense to me in terms of her abilities. I mean, for one thing, her costume had a back to it... how on earth did she get those huge wings into it? Another thing was that she had long hair, but she flew. Now, normally that wouldn't matter to me, cuz long hair looks cool when you're flying. With Dawnstar, however, it was her wings that would look cool while flying. And all that fringe on her costume would have driven me nuts.
So, this costume incorporates the midriff element of many of today's Legionnaire lasses, and the top is also backless to accommodate her wings. The boots (which you can't see here) have a small fringe on the top. The costume isn't exactly "Native American" inspired by today's standards, but I decided to give it my own idea of what that might mean 1,000 years from now. Her hair is still long, but is worn in a more practical braid. The belt buckle is meant to be birdlike, but I think it might look more batlike in this pic.
I would probably tweak it in a more finished drawing, but this is the general idea I had going on
Posted by Greybird on :
I know I'd love to see a more finished version, if you're inclined. Or this one inked, or colored, or both. It's an intriguing and plausible reimagining (there's that word again!).
I'd demur about her original look, created by Grell and Sherman: She didn't originally have a back to her outfit. The bodice was cut to the same depth and shape in front and in back. It was held up by going over and hanging from her shoulder blades, about two-thirds of the way toward her neck. (See "Superboy" 226.)
Others had the fabric moving in closer yet to her pinions, but you never quite saw where they sprang from her back, at least until Greg LaRocque's work (on occasion).
Her late-v3 Giffen redesign had a neck-circling ornament holding her outfit up, in a shape similar to yours. It also had braids, but unlike your softer look, they were wrapped enough to almost become deadly weapons.
Your minimizing of the fringe and using gauntlets as ornament works well here. Reactions to her long hair and fringe reflect individual tastes, and though I always liked them, I found them impractical for Legion battles.
On the other hand, Dawny rarely had cause to be in direct battles. And the hair and fringe, as with a cape, could show her relative motion or its lack on the comics page. That's probably why they were kept.

I really like the emblems for MEL & Bouncing Boy - and the faces chosen suit their personalities.
Polar Boy's costume is wild, Vee! Great name changes for Mysa and Condo. Love Mysa's icy purple look.
I sometimes wondered how Dawnstar got her clothes over her wings as well. You'd think she'd want maximum freedom for her wing movement. The braid makes sense, looks good and fits in with the native American look. What I really liked was the jewelry. I wonder if those bracelets could be like medals or symbols of achieving different levels of training.

Okay, so I guess this is a little more along the lines of what I had in mind. I added arm bands and a necklace/choker thingy, and included the boots I was talking about.
Posted by Monkey Eater Lad on :
That's an awesome WaKy Dawstar! If she can't her wings through her costume, there's no other option than to go nekkid!
I just thought, for my Bouncing Boy logo, if I but it on a slant and put a line below it, it could look like a B as well as a ball rolling down a hill.

WOW!! She's the hunter!
Greybird will want to kill me, but this depiction would go great with the Bounty story - she has a hard edge which Dawnstar lacked. This could be Dawny post-Bounty.
Posted by Greybird on :
It could be. If she'd never been mutilated and mind-suppressed in the first place ... *sigh*
I have nothing to "kill" anybody about, regarding an interest in the Bounty entity giving Dawnstar a different and harder edge. It's a reasonable interest. It could have been intriguing. Again, only if those qualities had been added to her, not used to trash her, physically and mentally. That last is what angered me all along, for 15 years now.
As for Dean's sketch, I'm very glad to see it, and she's very dramatic, and that outfit is striking and functional for battle ... but I can't say I care for the hair. I'm really sorry.
Her face, especially those cheekbones, needs to be framed by longer hair, for me, or it's out of balance. Braid or braids, yes, Cru's length above, even cornrows (as Dean once drew) -- but cutting it back to a mohawk doesn't suit her well.
It's gone already into my Lee folder, o'course, I wouldn't part with it, it's just not a favorite.

Fresh from the talentless thread... a reimagined Timetrapper. Tattered cape, humanoid with an owl head ("Time is a bird/it perches/it flies"), an amoral creature who could work with or against the Legion.

"Who is the Time Trapper?!?" "Hoo...hoo..."
Posted by Princess Crujectra on :
This is my version of a rebooted Bouncing Boy, which I did at lunchtime today. Two things that I tried to do differently was:
1) No belt. Chuck always seemed to have a belt-like part of his costume, which to me makes little sense for someone whose power is inflating his body. I know my belt gets in the way after a good meal
2) Chuck always seemed at the mercy of his power. His arms and legs just kinda got pulled along behind the rest of his body. In my pic, I tried to show his bouncing to be under HIS control.
That's about it. Enjoy!

Good art, guys. =)

Lunchtime seems to be the most creative time for me lately. Today while scarfing down some chicken cordon bleu I came up with this White Witch design. I tried to be sorta true to her pre-boot personality: kinda sweet, and pretty in a different way from her sister (her figure is a bit fuller than Nura's, for instance). I'm thinking the majority of the costume would be white, of course, but the trim and the sections on her hips and sides would maybe be a light gray... just enough to break away from the white a little.
Anyhoo, hope you enjoy!

Duly noted!
Posted by Loser Lad on :
Just a quickie. I thought it needed a little color, so I added a red lining to the cloak.
Posted by Greybird on :
I hope Loser or others will follow up on the rest of Newcru's attractive redesigns on the previous page. Chuck is much more plausible without a belt. Mysa ended up especially smooth in color, especially her cloak, though I still can't envision her as a redhead (wasn't that TMK? well, we won't get into that again).
F.C., you shouldn't put yourself down. The Trapper-as-owl concept is a good one. If someone made the turned head a bit more realistic, it would work even better.

That looks really cool, Lou! Thanks!
Posted by Sketch Lad on :
In her Adventure era debut, Mysa was a redhead.
Cru and Lou are an EXCELLENT team!
FC, I like the owl idea for the Time Trapper.
As for my Dawnstar, I did want to give her a new look, yet keep a lot of the familiar, so the color scheme stayed (maybe a bit more tan than yellow, I guess). Really, I should do some research on the tribe of native Americans who sported the mohawks. I could get some good costuming ideas from actual history. I think Dawnstar is beautiful enough to wear even that drastic look. Obviously, that was my plan, to get away from the long hair. Please don't apologize (Greybird) if you don't care for it. Everyone's entitled to their opinion!

Mohawks are a hard thing to sell, I kind of like it, but see I read X-Men and I had to get use to Storm having it so it grew on me.

No problem. That was fun! If I get the chance I'll take a crack at your other designs. I really like the Dawnstar design.

Heh. Silver Age colorists practiced their craft with such attention to detail.

Here are Princess Crujectra's two other designs colored.

Any surprise who I'd like to see in the new Legion? It's not quite a bold reinterpretation, but that Cockrum costume was so perfect, it's hard to get away from:

And with Drake, could Dawny be far behind? Posted by Vee on :
Hey Drake, love 'em both! Do you envision the reimagined Wildfire with a body of flesh & blood or would he still be in his energy form?
Posted by DrakeB3004 on :
Wildfire always has to be a former humanoid turned into an energy being -- that sense of loss is integral to the character, imo...
Posted by Faraway Lad on :
Drake, like the re interpretation of Dawny. She looks much more warrior like in this view. Did you intend that star light on her brow to always be “on” or would it be used to show her tracking powers in operation?
I like the staff too, although I was wondering what it could be used for? Would it be a weapon? Or some way to enhance her powers whilst planet bound? And if this was the case would the legion reject her for that old, no artificial powers rule? Actually here’s a thought for a re imagined Dawnstar. If she was to come from a low grav planet and or spend most of her time in space maybe her muscles have atrophied a little and to cope with Earth normal gravity she needs a walking stick (oh alright then a staff) to help her stand?
Posted by DrakeB3004 on :
My thought was that the light would be for when her power was working. And the staff is a spear - it's for poking.
Posted by DrakeB3004 on :
I'm not sure I even like this concept, but here it is: Wolf Boy! (Lycan Lad?) Posted by SKETCHANATOR on :
Classic Wildfire! I like the detailing of the costume.
We all seem to have a similar idea for Dawnstar. I like yours very much, Drake.
This is an all new idea for Timber Wolf! He has a Gollum quality. He's actually a little scary. That's not neccessarily a bad thing...
Posted by Faraway Lad on :
This Timber Wolf is another great take on the subject.
I think of all the up dated costumes this is one of my favourites. It has enough of the "classic" look about it to make it clear that this is Timber Wolf, yet it is a good updated costume.
I could see the Threeboot Legion coming across this feral child one day and trying to invite him in to join.
Posted by Monkey Eater Lad on :
Drake, love the Wolf Boy! Hey maybe we should point Barry, Mark, and Steve to this thread, huh? Get their creative juices flowin'?
Posted by Greybird on :
Ab fab Dawnstar take, including those abs on her. A more relaxed, though still alert, bearing for her, and it works well. The gauntlets instead of sleeves, and the shoulder-fringe effect, are quite different and are especially effective.
I'm not sure about that spear, though, as to what she'd actually use it for in the Legion's setting. Did you have a scenario in mind?
As for the feral boy, it's an intriguing idea, well-drawn, but I find it hard to get outside the lone-adult-wolf box of the pre-Crisis Brin character. He was menacing, but the kid is not. Something intangible is missing ... I can't narrow down what it is. Gotta think more about this one.
Edit: Just read Faraway's take on Dawnstar and lesser gravity. That had never occurred to me, and it's quite plausible. It would be more of a matter of storytelling convention that all Legion humanoids would act similarly under Earth gravity. The relative masses of many planets would make actual behavior different. Or moons -- Titan comes to mind, for Saturn Girl.

Drake: I like your T-Wolf, especially the shoulder on the costume.
Latern: Beautiful, you're right a classic.

I like the Timber Wolf idea. It gives him a wild look like a wolf just scraping by out in the wilderness. A little starved and dangerous.

Thanks, your take on her was no doubt part of the inspiration for the more "hunterly" image.
And Grey, I just thought the spear looked cool - makes her more dangerous (esp. since Dawny's powers aren't offensive). She'd probably have to lose it if she joined the Legion.
Thanks to all for the nice feedback .

Since my last Wildfire wasn't too much of a departure I tried to come up with something different: Posted by Kinetix on :
Nice Wildfire. I rather like the cloak, and the new helmet design, even if I am a sucker for the more bubble-like faceplate. That makes for a nice visual.
J
Posted by Faraway Lad on :
Some nice design elements here Drake. I really like the hooded cape concept. He could hide his inhumanity here, only dropping the cape when going into action.
I like the idea behind the energy glow of the face plate and on the stomach areas but they do make me think of Atmos (never a fav of mine)
The neck looks a wee bit odd, was that deliberate, to try to emphasis that there is no "real" body in there?
Posted by DrakeB3004 on :
Yeah, I wanted to make him less human (thus no human musculature either)
Posted by Sketch on :
Yeah, Drake, I like the idea of him being a really ugly construct, not clunky like his postboot debut, but severely mechanical. I also love the idea of pure white anti-energy. That could be really dynamic to show in action.
Posted by Doc Nimbus on :
Love the flip-up eye plate!
Posted by DrakeB3004 on :
Ok, one last Wildfire redesign. The last one was more like "Ultimate Wildfire", stressing his inhuman qualities. This is more along the lines of Kitson's designs - simple, sleek and with a silver age flair (but without the "underwear on the outside" look): Posted by DrakeB3004 on :

I know I'm well late with this but better late than never eh? I posted this originally in a thread called 'Try Out' - I might add bits to it from time to time in that thread but this gives a good 'taster' for you. Hope you enjoy!
..............................
TRY OUT
Lisi Kuttlebaum stood in the queue patiently.
She looked at the colourful crowds around her - a fete had sprung up on the plaza around the spiralling line of hopefuls. Each vying for their time in the spotlight. Everyone of them wanting to show the Legionnaires exactly what they could do. There wasn't a single sentient present who wouldn't do whatever it took to be offered one of the legendary Flight Rings. They all shared the same dream. The dream of becoming Core Legionnaires!
Next to her stood a tall woman. She wasn't wearing too much and Lisi, for all that she followed the Legions code felt embarrassed to see so much skin. She'd introduced herself earlier when Lisi had joined the queu and the two had spoken for ten minutes or so before they were distracted by a 'whooom!' from the testing dome. Rumours were flying around about the incident and how it had caused a delay, but Lisi had an inkling that the Legionnaires present in the dome had used whatever it had been that created the explosion as an excuse to take a break after nearly five solid hours of testing applicant. And she didn't mind a jot! The Legionnaires, she was certain, would be sceptical of her claim to be the direct descendant of Captain Marvel. She smiles as she remembers her own disbelief. But all it had taken to convince her was the simple uttering of one six letter word and here she was. The Legionnaires might take a little bit more to convince but with the might of Shazam Lisi knew she could convince them to accept her.
Today the Legion would accept Captain Marvel into their ranks and she would make her anscestors proud! What a simply marvellous day!
................................................
Loloo Nkata looked at the brown haired girl standing next to her in the queue. Quite a sweet girl Loloo thought after their very brief conversation. Her blue and gold costume with the ridiculous thunderbolt across her chest and flowing red and gold cape was eye catching enough. Loloo wanted to talk to her again but after the explosion had been heard within the testing dome the edgy atmosphere in the crowd had distracted her. Loloo was beginning to get bored. There was a little man with the broadest shoulders and mischief in his eyes who she had caught glancing over her way a few times. It wouldn't be hard to persuade him to join her, simple really, just give him one of her special looks and he'd come running. She'd never actually seen a man in a.. what where they called again, kilt? Well whatever, when he walked he swaggered and she wanted to find out exactly what reason he had to be so confident in a crowd who towered over him. And those shoulders.. and that dusty blue skin? What planet would he be from? Talok? Senffus?
Taking a slow breath Loloo thought that possessing the man just for a bit of light relief might not be seen to be in the spirit of the Legion. Well, maybe not officially but she was sure there would be a few of them who enjoyed a good laugh. Ultra Boy, Sun Boy and Light Lass all liked to party so Loloo had heard. She remembered when she'd first heard of the Legion. She knew as soon as the first newstory about their formation hit Ventura. She knew right then. The Legion would be her ticket out of the drudgery of night after night of dancing across tables full of lecherous and sweaty men from a multitude of worlds with alcohol glazed tolerance in their eyes. She'd occasionally make one of them do something exciting - one man she made disrobe and jump around for a few minutes before the embarrassed houseguard quietly escorted him away. She would push them for bigger tips from time to time of course, but not too much as Fat Stacros would be watching for anything that might take money out from his pockets.
Anyway, as exciting as being a Legionnaire would be just thinking of what the Dregscum from Serfholm Camp would think when they heard of her achievements.. ah there was the pay-off for all those years of fruitless banality.
Mama Jesh would be so proud of her for following her dream like this!
Was that the dreamy stud in a kilt looking again? Well, he was keen. Maybe she wouldn't be bored for much longer.
As he strode through the crowd he had seen quite a few amazing sites. Given that he'd spent the last five and a half years since buying his freedom from the Clone Tradesmen of the Uber-Auchiyell Terraforming Corps travelling the Milky Way he knew an amazing sight when he saw one. And amongst the outrageous and flamboyant displays of power and courage he had seen the girl with the red and gold cape quietly join the queue. She seemed so meek, so.. polite as she spoke to the leggy redhead beside her. The distraction caused by the explosion in the testing dome had allowed David to get closer to the two.
It was spectacular! Even in the year climbing the ratings of the Battle Domes on Khundia or the six months spent as a engineer and surveyor at the Star Disc project amonst the Recombant Vegan Colony around Vegafive he had never seen someone so perfect! She was truly perfect! He caught the eye of her companion. A pretty enough lass, a wealth of red hair wearing a jumpsuit with large disc shaped holes revealing as much of her pale buttercup skin as it covered. The two girls obviously didn't know each other but they were being polite. She would get him closer to the perfect girl with the red and gold cape. He knew how to turn on the charm, even here amongst the tall bodied and cynical inteligensia of the trueskins.
He stole another glance, his enhanced senses confirming what he already knew. After years working amongst the heavy gravity proto-stars and planetoids in Uber-Auchinyell, after all the time amongst the Outer Colonies, here in the heart of the decadent, soft bellied, over populated Home system he finally finds someone amazes him. After month-long missions to the harshest environments...
For the first time in his hard life David Achh was unable to find any trace of physical vulnerability for him to exploit. He has finally found someone who he might not be able to defeat in combat.
She truly was perfect! .....................................................
Prince Sareen Augustus Ampeii III of the Ancient and most Imperial House of Hemmil-Gotha-Rex-in-Exile wondered if it would be appropriate to approach the girl. She had fabulous red curls, and a nice ass too. Yes, Prince Sareen thought, a very nice ass! The brown haired girl with the red cape was opbviously not bothering to talk to Nice-Ass-Girl so maybe Nice-Ass-Girl would welcome his conversation.
It couldn't hurt, surely.
With a touch to the edge of the front of his silver and white waist coat he decided that the only way to attract a gorgeous girl like Nice-Ass-Girl wouldbe to show as much buff, toned, perfumed and tanned skin as possible. His waistcoat slip open. With his chest fully bared the young prince casually walked over to the girls. He spots the short muscular clone glancing at her too. They almost catch eyes but the prince smoothly glances away. Well if there was to be a competition for this pretty young things attention let the best man win.
A ten step nonchalant stroll and he's beside the two girls, walking just to the side of the brown haired girl with the cape. Pretty smile, but Nice-Ass-Girl is sweeter. As he turns to introduce himself when the little clone in the kilt strides up bold as brass towards Nice-Ass-Girl!
"Excuse me.." he means to move past the brown haired girl with the cape but she turns towards him and smiles
"..uh hi.." her amazement at being addressed is quite cute the prince admits to himself, but she's no Nice-Ass-Girl. Meanwhile he can see past her shoulder that Clone-in-a-Kilt Boy is already talking to N-A-Girl!! Let's see if she's still laughing with you by the end of the afternoon you little rogue, the direct route isn't always the best route!
Before he can do anything about them he would have to go through Pretty-Non-Descript Girl!
"Sorry to interupt you but I just had to ask about your cape, the design looks kind of familiar?" He spoke to the PND girl with brown hair, his most charming conversational smile beaming on full.
"It's kind of a family thing.. um.."
"Are your family one of the Royal Houses that you wear their standard?" He thinks '..as if!' even as he asks the question, but she modestly turns away with a blush beginning to rose her cheeks. She giggles for a second, her eyes closed, giving Prince Sareen a chance to steal another glance at Nice-Ass-Girl. Clone-in-a-Kilt has her bending over him stretching the line of her leg further. Ding-dong-daddio!
"I'm the new Captain marvel." Her brown eyes catch his and Prince Sareens expensively thorough education pays off.
"Is that anything to do with the 21st Century powerhouse person here on Earth?"
"..um.. yeah, I can do all the things he could. How about you? Do you have any abilities?"
Her earnest smile again, the Prince is suddenly interested in P-N-D girl - if she's telling the truth she'd make a fine ally. He knew of the magic lightning of Shazam, his schooling in the Arcane Arts had been minimal but enough to cover all the great sources of magic known to Mankind.
"Sorry, I asked do you..?"
"I'm terribly sorry, I'm Prince Sareen Augustus Ampeii III, fourth in line to the Ancient and most Imperial House of Hemmil-Gotha-Rex-in-Exile, but with my powers to affect the weather I'm here today as Typhoon." He can see in her saucer like eyes that she is still trying to follow the hereditory title. Some people are impressed by such things, some people are unaware of the true worth of a title, which is just as well for the Prince as he belongs to the other group of 'some people', those who know how to use titles, however empty, to their maximum advantage. "It's really nothing Captain, just a stupid title, tell me more about you and your friend please." Captain Marvel reluctantly turns away from Typhoon and begins to introduce Loloo Nkata before noticing her queue-mate was already talking to someone else.
The following moments are slightly embarrassing to all four of them as the tentative friendship between the two ladies is the catalyst for introductions all round.
"Loloo Nsaka, though I think I'll go for Charma as my new Legion name, what do you think?"
"I'm charmed to meet you" says the prince as he bows his head and rather than take the offered hand to shake, he kisses it gently."I'm called Typhoon, my name is a bit of a mouthful so please just call me that." He steps back, eyes drinking in her lithe figure and without turning to look says "And is this your help clone?"
"My name is David Achh, if you don't mind, I bought my freedom years ago."
"I'm terribly sorry my good man, no offence meant." The prince smiles a weak smile and offers a limp hand to shake.
"Ah hope you don't expect me too kiss that, do you?"
Captain Marvel and Charma both laugh, missing the daggers between the two mens eyes. The Prince breaks the look with a question.
"And what are you going to call yourself when you join the Legion then David?"
