Monday : courtesy of Facebook, I doscover that the boy who I left home for is currently dating another boy who is 7 years younger than me, a Firefighter, and looks exactly like me.
this after months of him trying to tell me that he doesn;t date and really enjoys being alone.
Apparently they've been dating since before I got here, Which I suspected anyway
Tuesday: Contact Stephen re: the above ...his respose "WTF are you talking about"...Leave work early all depressed and fix myself up with a bottle of Dr. Wine.
Wednesday: Nothing much happens
Thursday: Go out...not that great a night...Go to work hungover, Get in trouble for being late and have to sign a written warning saying I wont do it again.
Friday: Leave work about 11:30 pm on friday, get about 500 meters up the street, Jumped by a group of 10 crackheads leaving the office. They wanted ciggarettes but managed to get my wallet. Left with 4 inch cut on my forehead requiring 6 stitches which the hospital is certain was cause by a knife due to the depth. Spend the next 6 hours in hospital waiting room waiting to get stitched up, But thankful I have reading material as my Full Run of X-Force / New Mutants came from Ebay.
Saturday: Call my mother to tell her, Am told my Cat that I've had since I was 14 had to be put down as his liver was failing.
Sunday: Am told by work that I am not able to get Workers Comp as "technically" it did not occur on work property, but 500 meters outside of work. Thus, I have to go to work, Depspite a splitting headache, A body covered in bruises, And an intense need to vomit due to the Pain Medication that I'm on.
Shame I have rent to pay...In a house that I'm still having problems with....

Actually...I'm just really glad it happened to me, Who know's how to block a punch, and not one of the girls who work here.

Thanks Guys I don't mean to Kvetch but it gets worse
Monday: Call my mother, on the insistence of friends, To tell her the situation. Am Informed that my cat, morris, Who I was given on my 13th birthday, Has had to be put down as his liver has failed.
Tuesday: Eat an unnesceary amount of comfort food. Not much happens.
Wednesday: Go into the office to send off some emails and try and sort out some of this "Work Cover" stuff. Am informed that I am now a gay martyr. A collection has been passed around for the "Friends of Joseph" and am taken out to dinner and a show. Not much liking this whole "being a part of the cause" thing as I REALLY didn't want to turn it into a gay thing.
During the day there is one of the worst storms in melbourne history. am stuck on a train that smells of old burger king for 40 minutes. Get off train, crossing street and someone in a Mercedes decides to use a break in traffic to run a red light. Foot is run over. And then it starts to pour down rain. Get home at midnight to a house with no power as all electricity in the block has been taken out when a tree hit a power line during the storm. 12 hours later power still not back.
What next? A rain of Toads? *croaking in the distance*

Have to cancel planned holiday due to now having no money re: not working. asked to be re-rostered from time off. Am given this excessively stupid roster, told if I want to get rid of shifts I need to try and give them away, there's nothing management can do...SERENITY NOW!!!

When you have a bunch of lemons on your plate...make lemonade! (Yeah I know it's a cliche but ...) Think of all the money you'll be making on those 13 days. You'll be able to sock away some of it AND you still have your vacation days coming to you down the road since you didn't take it now.
