This enormous chamber is an annex to the mansion, and can only be accessed via magic or teleportation. The repository appears to stretch on and on endlessly, and the ceiling is so high it's lost in the shadows.

Stacks of boxes, crates, and chests are covered with the dust of ages gone by. Each one contains a mythical or legendary artifact, device, or object that has long been thought to be lost to human society forever.

[STU walks over to the nearest crate] Now let's see here... what's this?

What's that I see in two dusty urns in a dark seldom visited corner: why yes, it's my lost youth and idealism. Maybe I can sneak them out of here .....

{ The Philosopher's Stone. }

Or, as it's known to Harry Potter fans in North America, who are assumed to lack the historical knowledge of efforts at alchemy (and with how Western cultural history is abominably "taught" in nearly all schools, that's a safe presumption ... but, again, I digress): The Sorceror's Stone.

Oh, and don't forget about the short-haired woman with aviator goggles on her head, who's tending the front desk outside the repository -- Amelia Earhart Putnam.

Um, hate to break it to you, Grey, but it's called the Philosopher's Stone in Canada. I'm not sure about Mexico.

Posted by STU on :

In Mexico, the first Harry Potter is called Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal -- which translates more closely to "Philosopher's Stone."

Oh look, it's the Iraqi weapons of mass destruction - a hammer and an anvil. Right next to it is George Bush's credibility.

OK Stu got a couple of crates here for delivery where do you want em? This ones got Giffins artistic skill whilst that one has I think John Bryne in it. Can we bury that one somewhere in the back?

Oh and any one found that crate with Superboy and Supergirl in it? I hear the legion is looking for a couple Kryptonians.

Here, let's hide it behind these boxes and boxes of unmatched socks that have mysteriously disappeared from washing machines the world over...

The Big Book of Legion World Alternate IDs and Who They Really Are

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

Did you write that Stu, or did I [Wink] ?

Posted by STU on :

I think Gary wrote it. (Since we're all alt IDs of his anyway, writing it was a pretty simple task. [Wink] )

Posted by Nightcrawler on :

Why'd I just say that?

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

I knew I was an Alt ID of Gary! I should have known all along! I guess that makes my Alt ID's (Invisible Brainiac, Kid Prime, Vee, etc.) all Alt ID's of Gary too!
