For those NOT familiar with Squadron Supreme,it was a mini-series in 1985 and Marvel's parody of the Justice League of America.
Written by the late Mark Grunwald,whose ashes were mixed with the prining ink of the graphic novel.
Squadron Supreme helped to inspire the Kingdom Come graphic novel series.

Wouldn't the Imperial Guard play that role? Or at least that's what I would think a Legion in Marvel's Other-Earth would look like.
Wait! I understand your Kid Hyperion reference now. That's actually a pretty cool idea. Hopefully someone at Marvel will steal it.

yet the legion is not closely realted to the jla.
so we'd have kid hyperion the inspiration. whiz (or whizzer girl) like xs after the whizzer.
and an evil spectrum sorceress (emerald empress)
but the squadron universe has such marvel things like a sorcerer supreme.
maybe hyperion girl or Thia lass.
or the legendary hero could be completely different, what if arcanna inspired the team not hyperion. most likely it would be the leader or one with a solo career. maybe power princess. are we talking new or old squadron? oh you meant supreme power...i like the classic one better. (i thought kingdome come was similar to squadron supreme...is also very pre authority)
