Bumping this up cause it looks like it's gonna be good!

I loved this book. I just had one question, though . . . where does this fit into the continuity? It looks like it falls between seasons 1 and 2, but if that's the case, why is Superman there? If it's before the end of the first season, why are they wearing the season 2 outfits? Can you explain it, cause I can't.

Probably the same explanation for why Element Lad's outfit matches neither season 1 NOR season 2, nor does it even do a very good job of approximating his look in previous appearances in teh comic. (in which his uniform was has always been white...apparently, they don't want a pink uniform in the comic.)
I guess a rationalizing writer/artist could say, "well, they change their outfits more than is apparent from the toon"). Or somesuch.
Nevertheless ...
Click Here For A SpoilerI was quite ecstatic to finally see a spotlight on Element Lad! And, the spotlight on Tinya was intact, so two for one! The only downside was, in fact, his costume snafu.

I was glad to see E-Lad get some substantive lines!
Funny, that in both retellings we've seen of his origin, he's a minor player. What's up with that?
E-Lad's ADVENTURE origin is still the best. I guess that one would now be considered too bloody for kids, so an environmental collapse is a fair substitute.
Makes the people of Trom seem different, though.
I like scenes with Tinya and her mother here- unlike in other versions.

Just got it. I enjoyed this PG spotlight but it just underlined how much I miss her and her fellow Legionnaires on the TV screen. Jan's costume isn't bad, but I wasn't fond of "Roxxas" being demoted to a white collar corporate baddie, or the destruction of Trom being caused by natural disasters. I was a wee lass when the first Trom was destroyed by genocidal space pirates. I didn't scar me for life (or did it?)
The art made the characters look younger than in previous issues but it was nicely done.
Gawds, I miss these guys. Saturday mornings aren't the same without them.
