As seen on the Business Wire (as noted on the Legion Clubhouse front page), Warner Bros. has licensed out the Legion for video games as part of a deal in which it bought part of SCi/Eidos.

The press release says in part that
quote:
Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has licensed the rights for selected intellectual properties to SCi. SCi’s publishing label Eidos will develop videogames based on the properties. The licenses are:
[snip]
* Other animated properties. Eidos has also signed license agreements relating to the children’s animated TV programs, Loonatics Unleashed and Legion of Super Heroes.

I think Scott might have misread the earlier statement that says
quote:
A part of the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) has granted the licenses to SCi for the comic book version of Batman, the Looney Tunes, select titles from the Hanna-Barbera catalog and television properties The OC, Loonatics Unleashed and Legion of Super Heroes.
Only the comic version of Batman is licensed here, not the comic versions of everyone. The only Legion license is the TV version. (Scott, I tried to contact you but there's no contact info on the Clubhouse page.)

But yeah, it makes a second season more promising. They wouldn't license the rights to a series that's not still on the air.

Yeah, I had already started a thread on this over here but I still don't see where I mis-understood. Edios only licenses games. And I still read it as saying SCi licensed five shows and various Hanna-Barbera properties for comics.

Okay, I see it now. Just my tired mind running things together. They could have written that up better.

This article, on the other hand, was much better written.

Oh, and thanks for reminding be about the contact page. I had issues before and am now testing it again.
