I love the Legion Legacy characters and stories. sigh Wouldn't the various combinations make a fantastic series of Elseworld stories? Alan Farmer and Mark Davis. DnA+Coipel. TMK. Visions of Legion babies danced in her head.

I loved this poll. Nice job! I too admit not recognizing some of these characters (XTC of Kingdom Come? I'll have to look that up), but seeing the names of others made me smile.
Good to see Gear, Kinetix, Infectious Lass, the Heroes of Lallor, and the Wanderers (the original ones, I hope) getting lots of love.
Wild prediction: The Brain Globes of Rambat will get a big surge at the end of the day.
Happy New Year, everybody!

Thanks Kid Quislet,I tried to include someting for every one, it took quite a while to type all those names in twice, once for my master list and then for the poll.
For the most part I was going for characters that have not been used by Paul Levitz as of yet, those from the original continuity and all those from alternate realities that are not duplicate characters.
As much as I tried, I still missed a few characters the biggest one being Shvaughn Erin who I assumed Levitz had used since his return, as I have not been able to get Adventure Comics on a regular basis.
And I'd like to send out my thanks to all those who came out and voted, Happy New Year!

You are MORE than welcome LWL. This is a fun thread. Happy New Year to you and everyone else on this fine fan site too!
i just wanted to throw in here that while I really like Shvaughn I'm not quite ready to have her and Jan just "pick up where they left off" now that Paul's back writing the book. I hope Paul has other plans for these two ... but I certainly don't mean < The Death of Shvaughn Erin> or anything like that. I just want her to be back as the supporting character we all love, but not really connected to Element Lad now. He has a different path to go down I think. There's lots of other people and events that Shvaughn could be a part of in the Legion. Shame she wasn't chosen as the new Green Lantern. That would have been great now that I think about it!

Looking at the totals, I'm struck by how much we here at Legion World love the ladies. From Levitz's voting totals, Legion fandom in general seems to vote almost exclusively for the menfolk, assuming that his vote totals are indicative of the overall percentages.
Of the Heroes/Friends that got over 10 votes, we picked six out of eight women. Of the villains that got over 10 votes, two out of three are femmes fatale. TMK/5YG? Five out of seven. Threeboot? Three out of five. And the worst result, in the 'Other' category, was still 50/50 for the two characters who got more than 10 votes.

I still think it would be fun to bring Kent Shakespeare into the current Legionverse but not as a member. Have him be the Legions doctors new assistent. It would make sence that the doc would like having a superpowered assistent around when dealing with injured Legion members.

IMHO, the old FF has been done to death. Besides, Tharok and Sarya are dead and Validus has been turned back into Garridan.
I can't really see Mano or Persuader having the leadership skills to start a new FF, but maybe somebody else could do it with or without them.

I actually agree. And they've been done pretty lamely since the 60s. Give 'em a rest for about a decade, and then bring 'em back as scary as they were in their first couple of appearances.

Well the old Fatal Five have been gone from this Legion's continuity for more than a couple of decades now, ever since Tharok vanished with the Darkman back in the 80's

I'd really like to see Charma and Flare return. Oh, and Quicksand, who first appeared as a lackey of Pulsar Stargrave. Has anyone mentioned her?
