He's cute. He's orange. He's furry. He prefers open-toed footwear.
He's USALUS, and he paid the ultimate price for a colleague's hubris.
You see, USALUS would have been happy to use the time monitor to peer back at the Great Mystery of 33AD and end the endless debate about what exactly occurred then. But, no.
Adjapu insisted, despite the cautionary tales, to go further back. To "truly begin at the beginning", and as a result, USALUS is gone.
A third-tier supporting character, who appeared in just half a dozen panels on two pages of Legion #1, with his pierced ears, puppy-dog eyes and protruding canines, is gone.
