The Time Trapper is the villian in this issue, but the reason you should buy it is because it's the FUNNIEST COMIC BOOK EVER WRITTEN! As much as I love the new She-Hulk series, every page of this comic book had me laughing & screaming & peeing in my hot pants! Kyle Baker rips DC a new poopdeck for all the damage they've done to their characters over the years with the reboots & zero hours & crisis-es, and he does it with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer! If you don't wanna buy it, at least read it in the store. You'll be glad you did!

Hmmm... I dropped this after issue 3. I -will- check out issue 8, though. I've heard from others that the title's coming into its own... maybe this issue will get me to reevaluate and I'll fall in love with it like I did SHE-HULK.

I'll check out issue # 8. I really was kinda waiting to see what folks around here had to say about PLASTIC MAN before I tried it, as he is a character that I liked okay but not a top favorite.
Kyle Baker has never done any work on a comic I've read (except some shots in the WHO'S WHO in LEGION mini) so his name wasn't an instant sell for me either.
But now I have a good reason to check out PLASTIC MAN...

I also dropped the title after #3.
