Is it Ord Quelu or Qued Orlu? Well?

It's spelled, "Ord Quelu," but it's pronounced, "Throat-Warbler Mangrove."

Just call him "Dupe"

According to one source (and I can't remember which), Lallorian names can be spelled either way.
I suppose the closest real-world equivalent would be the practice in some cultures of placing the family name before the given name--a practice that can be inverted while visiting cultures with the last-name-last tradition.

It's a pun. Or that thing that reads the same forward as backwards.

A palindrome?
That's either a little joke or I'm being a doofus. I don't see it. Dork Ooloo? Oolyk Dro? I swear, I can't make it work.

Palindrome? Isn't that what they were going to re-name the "secret, undisclosed location" of the Vice-President if John McCain won?

It's the former, Kid. It's from an old Monty Python sketch about an ex-(i.e., dead) parrot. If you watch this clip, it's around the 4:48 mark. Sorry, Monty Python was an old British show I like.

Yeah, I was playing with it.
Which brings me to ..where the heck did Edmund Hamilton and Uncle Morty get these names? What the heck were THEY smokin' and is it legal in all the United States or just New York? It's like they picked alien sounding names by throwing a scrabble box in the air and then using whatever letters fell in the circle.
Cool.
Wierd but cool.

The Lallorian name swap retcon is one of the few that I think is really clever and enjoy.

Rinn Krokk
Ardma Imreen

Nara Nul
Lon Brindo
Duerl Quox
Mork Dirgna ! Hah! Mork!
Did I follow the conventions properly?
Anyone else wanna play?
