It wasn't an emergency call to battle the Sun-Eater or even round up the Intergalactic Zoo frequent fliers. No, no, it was a Legion meeting. And you know what that means: Cos going on and on and on.
Oh yeah, he "forgot" about it. Uh-huh. Nila, you were right to nip that nass in the bud. Dirk would have probably forgotten other things as well, if you know what I mean. (I don't mean your birthday, but he'd probably forget that too.)
Whew! I thought she might be another Obscure Legion character that I missed. I hate that!

I'm thinking Nila is a pageant girl. Miss United Planets, maybe? Maybe just Miss Earth or Miss Solar System. She's got the look, the body and the air of importance to tell off a Legionnaire boyfriend. Not many other girls would let go of Sun Boy that readily.

All I can say is thank heavens that Patricia Powell is a woman and noticed the style of dress that villian was wearing. And you would think that Batman would have learned from that seeing as Patricia tracked down the guy before Batman did.
