Devoted Doro fans know, of course, that he was created to fill the void left by two much missed pre-Zero Hour supporting characters.
He combined Calamity King's tendency to wear green and reputation as a jinx with Lois Lane's tendency to fall off buildings into the the waiting arms of a super-hero.
Was it a pre-adolescent crush on Ultra Boy that was really behind his whole "falling off Legion HQ" stunt? We may never know for certain...

I think it's so cool that without such devoted fans as us, characters ike Iresa, Sinde, Myron Marks and Ansis would have been relegated to the realm of forgotten 1-offs, instead of given their very own smilies!
