Hi Guys Well here's the scans for the real cover to #11. It went through a lot of changes as we'd originally hoped to make the image ambiguous enough not to give away what happened in #10...hope you like the various versions!
Clicking on the thumbnail of the inked version will take you to a larger image.
Thanks as always to Nightcrawler for hosting the images!
[EDIT: Thanks Barry! I thumbnailed all of the images as I under estimated how big they were. Sorry.]

If Brainy is the one that goes bald - maybe in the current timeline he will be Pulsar Stargrave, too...

I love to see how these ideas develope and change over time.
I think I might have actually enjoyed the tease if you had gone with the original image with the face turned away from the viewer, especially if the cover had stayed black and white so we would get no clues from the colour of the hair.
But then I always did have a little evil streak.

[sigh] If I wasn't in favour of a relationship between Brainy and Dreamy before, I am now. Can't poor Brainy have a love life in any reality? :7

Relax, dude, it has to be another red herring on Barry's part - remember his grin when he said in an earlier message "I think i will miss Dream Girl the most." The poor woman looks as if she is sleeping in somebody's arms - but it doesnt look like Brainy's...

Wait and see...maybe Barry is using grin as his red herring making us think oh yeah dream girl is alive?

Just re-read #10 and I haveta say 2 things:
1. It's great seeing Barry's pencils again. The fill-ins were enjoyable insofar as good artists have stepped in, but there's nothing like Barry's pencils to bring it back to what it's supposed to be--a kick-ass book
2. Dream Girl's apparent demise. With all the foreshadowing about cosmic-scale annihalation, Dreamy's lack of a prophetic vision seemed to make sense. It didn't occur to me that one reason for her not being able to have visions was her own death. Perhaps it's the one thing Naltorians can't see?
re: #11's cover
It's heart-rending to see. I agree that on some level, Dream Girl & Brainiac 5 would've (past tense? really?) made a good case of opposites attract. Then again, it's too early to tell if she's really gone. A great cover nonetheless!
