Not a fad, but according to Wikipedia, the term feminazi can be credited to Jerry Seigel's Femnaz story during his ADVENTURE run. [Cool]

I remember Saturn Girl once telling someone to "cool up", which was meant to be a futuristic term for saying "calm down" I guess?
That was waaaaaay way back when the book was Superboy and the Legion Of Super-Heroes, in the early 70's.
