IF one accepts Carlin's edict removing Kal and Kara from continuity, and

IF one accepts that the timeline, while revised, was fairly complete, and

SINCE Laurel could neither return to the 20th century (being a 30 resident) nor be affected by Red Kryptonite, then...

UNKNOWN BOY has to be James Cullen! And, as it's Proty II's homeworld, this makes further sense!

Good thought.

I am working on streamlining the history of the Legion (in my head right now) for4 my project...and have Dev Em standing in at times for the boy of steel...but this makes sense too.

Nice bit of retro-fitting, KS. Now how do you fit in Gates?

But the super platinum blonde Quantum Queen appear in the adventure era.
First like a dead legionnaire in the Adult Legion story.
And later like one of The Wanderds.
I like her more James or Jazmin.

I like this line of thinking, Kent. The Proty II connection makes it work even better! Remind my alcohol depleted memory: did these story take place before Shooter took over?

Hmmm... just came across this old Kent Shakespeare thread, and, I got to say, I'm loving it!

to answer questions two years later:

Gates and Jasmin were never introduced pre-boot; the original Kid Q was, during 5YL. In fact, since Kid Q's James Cullen persona was fictional, he couldn't have had a sister, pre-boot.

Cobie, UB was Adv 334, if memory serves, about a year before Shooter.

Thanks Kent (I've read it since I originally asked).

This theory is actually quite brillant. I think if we try hard enough, we can easily figure KQ into the majority of Legion tales in an easy way.

Since he's a Protean, it becomes even easier!
