No. Shadow Lass's mother's name was Tarna Tolarn (I think.) Since postboot Legionnaires usually (but not always)have the same parents' names as before, that one's as likely as any.
(I know Garth and Ayla's parants had different names postboot and Luornu's mother was also different! But I think the others were the same. Don't know for sure.)
But no. No name revealed for Tasmia's mother postboot as far as I know. (I could be wrong)

Can't be - besides anything else, the postboot name would have ended in Mallor.
Ah well - if anyone finds anything for definite (and I DID check, but I could have missed something, especially since I don't have her Starman apps.), could you add it in here (this was what I wanted it for): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umbra_(comics)
(Damn "no parenthesis in HTML" message...)

In an issue of Superboy/Legion (#256 if I remember right), her name was listed as Tarn(i)a Tolarn (In two pages, it eas written differently) Go figure

Drura pointed that out already - but again, that's Shadow Lass, not Umbra.

'boot, the only metion I could find was the Legends issue where Umbra gets the news her mother has died. Not once is her name used though.
Did you check Steve Lightle's spotlight issue? I don't recall a name being given there and didn't think of it last night when I had access to the issue.

Okay, Lyrissa Mallor was her grandmother and Lydea was Lyrissa's daughter hence Tasmia's mother. But was that all wiped out by Zero Hour?

I'd already checked both, unfortunately. The only issues I can think of that I don't have available to me here that might have it are her Starman appearances. Anyone got those issues?

Weren't they waaaaaaaaaay before Tasmia's time - more like her great-great-great-great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-great-grandmother?

I always heard Lyrissa referenced as Tasmia's grandmother but that may have been in the broad, ancestral sense. With all the time traveling characters in L.E.G.I.O.N. anything is possible I guess.

Probably just a device to save typing all those "great-"s! [I'm not even sure I got enough in ]

Ack well.

Thus far (although, now I'm slightly more awake, I'm noticing bits that I've summarised too much and are slightly inaccurate because of it - notably the bit about the shadow cave, and the odd run-on sentence. Need to tweak it Plus I need to mention more of her pre-Blight Legion career including the Starman bit). I'm trying to give most of the postboot Legion decent-sized entries of their own right now.
Incidentally, I'm sure it was said somewhere that the Champion line always went down the maternal side (i.e. mother-daughter-granddaughter, etc), but at least half the prior champions shown in the Legends issue are male. Anyone remember where this was said, or am I just imagining it because all the prominent champions were female?

Of the top of my head, I think the recent Lightle issue made the matrilineal reference. I know I've read it, too... somewhere.
