It would make a lot of sense, if the new Legion is rebelling against the "utopian" sameness and perfection of their society - we did already see a billboard suggesting that people shouldn't be overweight.

Hey, i like women with curves as well. These skinny, anorexic chicks everyone seems to go for these days aren't to my taste. I could say something more about the lovin, but this is a clean board.

In general, I'd just like to see more variety of body types among the Legionnaires. Especially if we're returning them to their "club" roots, rather than this notion of them as the "best" and "brightest" their worlds have to offer (which might bias the team's membership towards certain conventional standards of appearance). Make them look more like a random selection of teenagers, all of whom just happen to have special powers.

A long time ago, I did a little sketch project where I gave all the girl Legionnaires very distinctive body types. Ayla and Nura were my larger sized girls. I think it makes a lot of sense if you have a flight ring and a super-power where you zap people, that you might not really have to have an ultra lean body.

Also, when I first read this topic, I thought of Vi. The short, pudgy version of her could still be very shy and quiet, but tough and buff. Maybe a fight would really tire her out, but she'd go for it 100%.

What I'd really like to see is a Legionnaire who is just plain unattractive. Not "alien-unattractive" like Hate-Face, Ferro or what have you, but a plain ol' regular joe/josephine who simply isn't that cute!

i always thought Chuck took that role Lash, but I agree, I would like to see some Legionnaires who are not that perfect. It could lead to some interesting conflict as the "good looking" Legionnaires get all the press and adoration whilst the less attractive ones feel ignored

Shouldn't some of these lads and lasses at least have serious cases of untreatable space acne?!? They ARE teenagers, for chrissakes!
I would even settle for characters who look realistically awkward, as many teenagers do.
