Color Kid could have used his power on Emerald Empress and the Eye ... but to what avail? Unlike with kryptonite clouds, there's no indication that changing the color of the empress or the orb would accomplish anything.

In my pinup model fanfics, the Empress is always attracted to anything green and bored with anything not green. So, I suppose Color Kid could do a lot to distract her or bore her, in order to help take her down.
I knew if I thought about it long enough, I could see the "deal."

Maybe there's some kind of limit on the Eye? I don't think we've ever seen that explored.
