Will it be Waid, as Rich Johnson speculated so long ago, and Gail S seemingly confirmed in a slip?

Will it be Kitson from that same long ago Rich J column?

Time to nail your colours to the mast and place your bets!

I don't think I mind if it's Waid & Kitson. Should make fr a great run as long as their hearts are in it 100%.

However, I heard from no authority that the new writer is to be Grant Morrison, with Alex Ross painting each issue.

I heard Alex Ross was writing it, and Grant Morrison was doing the art in watercolors.

On the other hand, the rumor at Wizard is that they'll make the buyer complete the art to save on production costs. Connect the dots, paint by numbers.

Um, okay, seriously,

have ANY other writers/artists besides Waid/Kitson been thrown around as the next "permanent" team?

WHY is it taking so long to announce the new team? When was DnA's departure from The Legion announced? Late December, yes? 4 months later, the new team still hasn't been announced? This is weird.

At Saturday’s DCU panel at WonderCon Dan Didio did use the phrase "any day now" when asked about the new Legion creative team. Let's hope that any day is in real world sense and not comic book time. It has been long enough without an official announcement.
