We already have twothreads about the "cancellation." This thread is for the preview.
Looks good I have to say (love B5's "waste of time" grumbling ), but one thing - Naltorian pre-cogS?!? Isn't post-boot Nura the first and only pre-cog in seven generations? Gunboy's talking as if they're commonplace, like the preboot. Eh, Gail....?

The preview of Gail's arc was completely overshadowed by the "other" news. Gail should smack Wacker in the head for that one. But maybe it was a smart move after all, because the announcement of a relaunch (if it ever comes) won't be tainted by the bad news of the current series cancellation. We will have already shed our tears and be grateful for anything they give us -- in theory.
About the preview, all I can say is I like Jurgen's art a lot and most of the new costume designs (not Tasmia's) too, but I'm not keen on the "Canary" character. What a heavy-handed reference to BoP. I guess Gail's missed all the Tyroc threads.

Oh so very true...

I'm pretty certain they're civvies. [Would that be the first time we've seen active members in civilian clothes since DnA started? I think it might be...]

She also said, you'll note, that she's actively avoiding preboot elements.
Although, picking Canary of all 20th/21st Century elements to homage may be pushing it a teeeny bit

Any chance you can expand on how Dreamer's pre-cog powers can act as an amplifier for Canary, Gail? The only thing that comes to my mind (which is probably way off base) is that Canary's power is affecting space/time.

I loved the art in the preview. It reminded me of those preboot LSH days when the Legionnaires just hung around HQ and did nothing but bond...within their little clicks of course...Lar, Tasmia, Jo and Tinya. Then there was the bickering between Dirk and Tinya (because Dirk would say something "off color"). Then of course there were the Ranzz's,Krinn's and company. Thom and Nura would be "making out" somewhere in the corner. Maybe Dirk and Thom might get a round of Holographic D&D in. Dawnstar and Wildfire might possibly be off alone together. THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! This preview really capture that "old 80's" feeling!

But look at her power-effect on the Greg Land cover. That looks sonic-screamy.
And hey, since we've now apparently got multiple Naltorian pre-cogs again, why not use one of them? Hell, why not ally with a highish-level Titanian and just grab the stuff out of Nura's brain?
