Hmm... hopefully there's more to these villains than the "dressing as 21st century heroes" schtick... I like the idea of the Legion facing more political terrorist types rather than the past couple of would-be universe conquerors, though...

Although it does sound like a fill in story. I remember when I first heard about Legion of the Damned. I felt the same way. And look how that turned out!
I will wait and see. I am excited to see costumed villains again...

Gail Simone? Adam Hughes? Dan Jurgens? An actual group of villains? I'm there!
Granted, I'd love to finally have an arc or story that didn't tie in some villain, costume, or mythos from the 21st century super-heroes...but I suppose that's asking too much with Superboy on the team now and those heroes being the Legion's inspiration and all. In any case, I'm sure Gail will put a delightful twist or connection on the villains' use of the old heroes costumes to hopefully subside my worry.

pretty like the Thunderbolts (from Marvel, no less) in 30th century. Nonetheless I will buy these issues anyway.

Well, I guess the fact that the cover's up the top as one of those little picture deelies means I didn't really need all that spoiler space, but the question stands, I suppose... Ahem.

Hooray for crooks in costumes! I also like the idea of returning to Metropolis for a story. Legion World is a useful storytelling tool, but I miss the wide open spaces.

Nemesis Kid wouldn't need a rifle with a scope. Can't actually imagine anyone in the 31st century using a rifle with a scope but if it's a LSV arc, perhaps Hunter?
