A Talok more insular than ever makes a lot of sense, especially if they've suffered some insidious invasion. Maybe something has taken over their minds (there's that hive-mind again!!) or maybe they perceive they've been abandoned by the U.P..
However, I wonder if it will be some new "darkness" enemy, Darkseid (or his minions) or Black Circle rises again.
Wasn't she hacking at some wild-looking plants or something on the cover? Maybe the Blight wound up there. But I do hope it's a new villain, just for variety - even if it ultimately ties in with Apokolips.
I believe cousin Grev is waiting for her too - or was that just somebody's guess in one of the threads?

I think this was written as a genuine fill-in - i.e. they didn't know when it was going to run when they wrote it, so I think its going to be completely standalone. That, and the hints Steve gave in his chat a while back, guided my guess there.

No, that was one of the few things Steve outright stated. Grev'll be there, and he'll still be her cousin.

Hope to see Grev and the Sand people. Could do without Lady Memory. We might see the Ftaal Five and some added indication as to what they have been looking for. Will likely get some prelude to Darkseid. I imagine that Shady, um... excuse me, Umbra, will get her powers back and rejoin the team.
